Today I'd like to just share 7 habits that I have used to create my mornings and the rest of the day better.

1. Keep a reminder near your bed.

1. Keep a reminder near your bed.

How will you begin your very first moments and minutes daily?

One good method to get off to a fantastic start is to get a note, a reminder on your bedside table which will be among the very first items you see after you've awakened.

A Few Hints for what to write down on your note:

A lower expectation bar for what makes you happy: Write down: "Now I shall set a very low bar for pleasure".

Read it and attempt to keep it in mind throughout the day. This one helps me to enjoy things more. The food, my job, the weather, both the people and the tiny events of this day become not everyday stuff but something that I feel glad to have.

The tiny things or what may be something one takes for granted becomes something that I now frequently pause for a minute or two to take in and appreciate.

Deciding your top 3 priorities in life at this time: To keep your attention in the perfect place it is essential to remind yourself every day of what's most important.

So what's most significant for you this year? A job at work? Your loved ones? Improving your social life? Your site, photography, soccer or debt? Consider it and decrease what's important in your own life to the best 3 main priorities.

2. Give someone heartfelt compliment.

2. Give someone heartfelt compliment.

Giving one real compliment to your spouse, a family member, friend or co-worker during your morning can't only lift her or his day but also make yours somewhat brighter and happier.

Just tap into what it is possible to enjoy about a person in your life.

If you can, make it something which could be a bit unexpected and something that person hasn't heard a hundred times before.

For example, a compliment about her great taste in music or his fantastic way with animals could be appreciated and strong than a compliment about looks and other more shallow things.

3. Cheerful information environment over breakfast.

3. Cheerful information environment over breakfast.

Instead of seeing the news or reading the papers and obtaining a negative and possibly gloomy start to your day do something that will inspire one.

Read only one or a couple of new posts from favorable, funny and uplifting sites or websites. Read a chapter in a book that motivates you.

Or just have an enjoyable conversation with the people around your table.

4. Start with the most important job of the day.

4. Start with the most important job of the day.

Should you then the rest of the evening will feel lighter and easier. You will feel much better about yourself and more confident as you move on to other jobs.

If you have problems getting started using the most crucial task then just make a deal with yourself to focus on it for just 3 minutes.

Then you can stop if you prefer. However, you may not want to once you've gotten started. That seems to be true for me all the time.

Getting started is most often the hardest part. So make that part easier for yourself.

5. Go slow and steady.

5. Go slow and steady.

When I keep my functioning pace a little slow it becomes simpler to fully concentrate, to keep the stress down and I often do a much better job.

I get more clarity and I don't get stuck in doing my work.

It could feel like I am not getting enough done but at the close of the day I usually end up doing more quality work than if I attempted to keep up a high speed through the day.

Partly because the reduced stress levels keep my mind fresh and power upward through the last few hours of the workday.

Try going a bit slower.

6. Exercise.

6. Exercise.

Frequently cited and for a good reason. It has several positive benefits.

I work out many times each week and so I improve my energy, remove internal doubts and lessen tensions, I feel more confident and my thoughts get more optimistic.

And all this makes the rest of the day lighter.

I highly recommend doing some sort of exercise in the afternoon. If you can not go to a gym or do a home workout early in the day then perhaps you can walk or bike to work or school.

7. Do the right thing according to you through a small or large gesture.

7. Do the right thing according to you through a small or large gesture.

This one fosters your self-esteem. It puts a spring in your step and it at least makes me feel happier.

So do what you deep down believe is the perfect thing.

A Couple of examples which could resonate with you:

  1. Hold the door up or point out exactly the way for somebody who appears lost.
  2. Help someone out actually or just by listening.
  3. Get started with putting a dent in the most crucial challenge in your daily life.

Build upon just a small step, a little matter if you like. Start building an upward spiral of positivity and great feeling inside.

And then take additional steps upwards.

Towards that which you know you really need and you understand are the best things for you in your living.
