Security systems are entering a new phase in their evolution. Customers are demanding that their security system work harder for them, providing more intelligence, convenience, energy savings and control possibilities. Many homes function around separate systems which work independently from each other, but these can now be integrated into one system, where you can have control from a keypad, telephone, remote control, computer, or even from the Internet
Comfort is one of the most advanced yet simple to use security systems available today incorporating many creative ways to help make you and your family feel safer.
You can be alerted when someone is in your garden or driveway. In the event of a break-in or a fire, Comfort can automatically dial-out to phones, pagers or even emergency services to alert or bring help. Comfort has the unique ability of letting you know exactly where an intruder is within your home.
Comfort can be armed with one button, to AWAY mode, when you are leaving the house, or Night Mode when the family in in bed, or Day Mode to allow people to move freely within the house. In the event of an alarm Comfort is able to call up to 8 telephone numbers, including Central Monitoring Stations, mobile and landline telephones and pagers.
Comfort allows you to listen to any keypad in the home as well as to talk on the built-in speaker. The Alarm Tracking feature announces the location of an intruder as he trips the protected zones in the home. Comfort's Time Programs can be used to automatically arm the security system late at night should you forget to do it yourself. If you leave the house without arming the system, you can call home to arm the system remotely.
The integration between security and home automation is one of Comfort's most useful and practical features. When you return home, the hall light can be automatically turned on - no more groping in the dark.
When the system is armed at night, the lights can be automatically turned off. All lights, air-conditioning and appliances can be switched off automatically when you leave the house. When there is an Intruder alarm at night, the lights can come on in the area where the intrusion was detected When movement is detected in the garden, exterior lights can be turned on to illuminate the area, and some interior lights can be switched on to give the impression that someone is investigating, even if no one is at home.
Comfort's Vacation Mode allows lights and TV to be switched on at semi-random times to give the impression that the home is occupied when you are away. The practical applications are endless.
These are a few of the possibilities with Comfort's integrated system:
- Away Mode When leaving the house. All zones are protected.
- Night Mode When going to bed at night. All zones except designated zones are protected.
- Day Mode Similar to Night Mode except interior motion detectors will not cause alarm, allowing occupants to move freely within the house.
